Great schools are just one more reason why future residents are looking to Starkey Ranch as their community of choice. Smart home buyers know that highly rated public schools help communities retain higher value over time. Current assignments for Starkey Ranch students are Odessa Elementary School, Seven Springs Middle School and James W. Mitchell High School - all ranked among the top five schools in the Pasco County School District. All of these schools are a quick drive from our community’s entrance, with Odessa Elementary just one mile away on Interlaken Road. As Starkey Ranch grows, Pasco County has plans to fund and build a brand new K-8 school adjacent to our Whitfield Park neighborhood. Plans call for a gymnasium, athletic fields, a running track and sport courts, all of which will be available during non-school hours to Starkey Ranch and Pasco County residents, through a shared-use agreement with the school district.
