What will Starkey Ranch homes be like?
Monday September 22, 2014
Starkey Ranch homes will come in many sizes – from impressive Estate Homes to low-maintenance attached Townhomes, and everything in between. Each home plan will have a choice of elevations in distinct but compatible architectural styles such as Craftsman, Florida Vernacular, Spanish Revival, or our favorite – Ranch Modern.
This spring, the first homebuyers in the Whitfield Park neighborhood at Starkey Ranch will be able to choose from three types of single-family homes: Garden Homes ranging from approximately 1,700 to 2,600 sq. ft., Park Homes from 2,250-3,350 sq. ft., and Village Homes from 2,700-4,100 sq. ft.
At the heart of this walkable neighborhood is its 3-acre namesake park that will feature the community’s first pool, pavilion and playground. Homes surrounding the big park will have rear-entry garages, creating an uninterrupted streetscape of manicured lawns and wide front porches.
Front-entry garages will be recessed from the street, keeping the focus on front doors and porches throughout the community. Driveways will be made of brick or concrete brick pavers, adding texture and beauty to each home.
The community’s Architectural Review Board will ensure that every street has a varied yet harmonious mix of exterior styles and colors, and that the same plan is not repeated close by. Future alterations to home exteriors and landscaping will be subject to ARB approval so that Starkey Ranch will be as beautiful years from now as it was 2015.
So, what’s your style?
