Starkey Ranch is perfect for the entire family – down to your four-legged friends, too. Within our first neighborhood village, Whitfield Park, two dog parks allow your dog to roam the green grass, run and jump and socialize with friends and family.

Woof-field Dog Park, located within Whitfield Park’s central amenity area, offers a great area for large dogs to run and play. Barker Dog Park, for smaller dogs, is located in Heart Pine Park (East) at the entrance to the neighborhood.

Both parks are easily accessible and within walking distance from our trail system that, when completed, will feature over 20 miles for biking, running, dog walking and more. In fact, over two miles of the trails are completed and ready to use.

Experience both dog parks at our upcoming Doggie Day, as part of our month-long Fun For Fall celebrations, taking place on Saturday, October 17 from 11AM to 3PM. Through partnerships with SPCA Suncoast, this fun-filled event will feature “My Pet’s Got Talent,” a doggie pageant and lots of pet-friendly vendors and organizations.
