Fun for Fall draws more than 2,300

The first four Saturdays in October were dubbed Fun for Fall at Starkey Ranch - a grand opening celebration of family friendly special events that ranged from a classic car show to a food truck rally to a delightful doggie day at our two new dog parks.

Throughout the community’s first neighborhood, Whitfield Park, more than 2,300 guestsgathered for live music, games, food, and tours of the five new model homes by M/I Homes and Ryland.

“We wanted to show Tampa Bay what Starkey Ranch is truly about,” said Matt Call, project director at Starkey Ranch. “This is a community where neighbors can become lifelong friends and bond through anything from a casual barbecue or block party, to wine tastings or neighborhood festivals.”

Each weekend’s event was held in partnership with a local nonprofit organization: Feeding Tampa Bay, Pasco Education Foundation, SPCA Suncoast and Wheels of Success.

More than 30 home plans by Ryland and M/I Homes are currently available from the mid-$200s in Whitfield Park, the community’s first neighborhood, which is designed around a three-acre common area that includes a community lawn, dog parks, a playground and picnic pavilions. A neighborhood pool and splash pad will open next spring. A second neighborhood, Esplanade by Taylor Morrison, will open early next year.

Model homes and the community Welcome Center are open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. All home plans can be found online at StarkeyRanch.com
