Proceeds from 2016 Starkey Ranch 5K benefit School and Rotary

Starkey Ranch contributes to Odessa Elementary

Not only was our first Starkey Ranch 5K a lot of fun for all involved, it also is benefitting both Odessa Elementary School and the Seven Springs Rotary Club.

On August 5th, Odessa Elementary received a check from Starkey Ranch for $1,250 to assist the school with textbook and technology needs. Shown from left are (l to r) Starkey Ranch representatives Mathew Eberius and Matt Call, Principal Teresa Love, Assistant Principals John Thomas and Vicki Rowland, and Pasco County School Board member Cynthia Armstrong.

The Rotary Club check was presented in late August and it will support the organization's many community service projects.

Time to break out the running shoes and start getting in shape for next spring's 5K. Your participation is good for you and great for the community.
