Ah, the lazy days of summer. Unless you happen to live in Starkey Ranch. Because with 500 families and counting, along with a jam-packed list of activities and events for residents, there’s more going on this season than ever before.

Sunset Sessions, our live music series at Whitfield pool, kicks off in June and runs through September. June also brings the Father’s Day cornhole tournament and lunch. First through sixth graders will be in their element of fun at Mad Science Camp in July and August. In June and July, kids ages 5-8 can take part in Young Explorers Camp and kids ages 9-11 can become Eco Rangers. These nature-themed camps are offered once in June and once in July (see our list of events for details). For toddlers and parents, Toddler Time is perfect. This ongoing book-themed program takes place in August.

Celebrate your independence with our July 4th bike parade in Whitfield Park. A fun pool party and barbeque at Whitfield Pool follow this popular event. Oh, and don’t forget to decorate your bikes!

For adults, Cunningham Hall is the place to be in July for Adult Trivia Night. Grab your neighbors and friends and see who’s bursting with the most knowledge – or who guesses the best! And how low can you go? Because at the end of July, our luau-themed Paradise Party will be grooving to the beat in Cunningham Park.

As fun as this sounds, there’s even more to come. Be sure to check out our full list of events and mark those calendars.
