Before Wheelock Communities developed Starkey Ranch in 2013, the
property had a long history of preservation. Originally purchased by
Jay B. Starkey and the Cunningham brothers in 1937, the 16,000-acre
CS Ranch, cut by the Pithlachascotee and Anclote rivers, hosted cattle
and timber and citrus operations.
When it comes to generations of family fun and togetherness, neighborhood joys and connecting with nature, Starkey Ranch is quite the community to call home!
Exclusive access to Jay B. Starkey Wilderness Park

In addition to our own 2,000 acres of natural Florida, residents also enjoy exclusive access directly from our community to the 8,300 acres of preserved wilderness at the adjacent Jay B.
