Our talent scouts tapped several Starkey Ranch residents for cameo roles in our first-ever TV commercial, now airing on Good Morning Tampa Bay, and select cable networks including HGTV. Life really has taken root in our community, with more than 150 families already living here and an average of four more moving in each week. We’re proud to show our success to viewers throughout the Tampa Bay area.

All three public schools to which Starkey Ranch students are assigned for the 2017-18 school year have earned Five-Star Schools status, as announced by the Florida Department of Education in January. Odessa Elementary School, River Ridge Middle School and River Ridge High School each earned the distinction which recognizes exemplary levels of family and community involvement in the schools. River Ridge is the only middle school in Pasco County on this year’s list.

December 9th was a magical evening at Starkey Ranch as we threw our first Ho-Ho Hoedown for about 1,500 guests. Santa arrived by golf cart and was joined by The Grinch, Anna and Elsa, and a very tall and lovely elf.
On Friday, November 5th, more than 7,000 kids of all ages descended on Starkey Ranch to take part in our first Touch-a-Truck event. The big attraction was the chance to sit in, play with, and learn about the more than 90 vehicles that ran the gamut from construction trucks and school buses to police cars and golf carts.
Pulte Homes has begun pre-construction sales of homes in our newest neighborhood village, Homestead Park. Pulte is offering three series of homes with a total of 15 plans available. Prices start in the upper $200s and homes range from 1,980 to more than 4,200 square feet.

Not only was our first Starkey Ranch 5K a lot of fun for all involved, it also is benefitting both Odessa Elementary School and the Seven Springs Rotary Club.
M/I Homes will build an enclave of 61 luxury townhomes in the Whitfield Park neighborhood, ranging from 1,691 to 1,851 square feet. Home sales will begin in September and models will be ready by late fall.
The Florida Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) will award its highest possible distinction, the 2016 Award of Excellence, to Starkey Ranch and its landscape architecture firm Dix.Hite+Partners.
Starkey Ranch has received the top award for Florida Friendly Landscaping from the Florida Communities of Excellence Awards. The community was also a finalist for the Best Community Video award.
Starkey Ranch is experiencing a growth spurt in May, as we celebrate the opening of eight new model homes in two neighborhoods, including the grand opening of Taylor Morrison’s Esplanade at Starkey Ranch.
On April 22, 2015 we opened the Starkey Ranch Welcome Center with the goal of providing warm hospitality, hot coffee, cold water, fresh cookies and great community information to prospective residents.
