The comedian Bob Hope is credited with delivering this famous line on his radio show in 1939. While it literally described the conversion from wood stoves to gas stoves in homes across America over the previous 20 years, the comedic meaning was clear: “You’re making a smart choice.”
Take a look at the first amenity area in Starkey Ranch. As the renderings of Whitfield Park show, the two-acre common area around which our first neighborhood is being built will offer lots of opportunities for fun.
Site work has begun on our Welcome Center, which is slated to open in early Spring of 2015. The architectural style is “Ranch Modern,” inspired by the past, but built for the future—just like Starkey Ranch.
As you can see, Starkey Ranch is really taking shape. In the latest aerial shot, you can clearly see progress along Heart Pine Avenue, the main entrance from SR 54 that leads past the Welcome Center site into Whitfield Park, our first residential neighborhood.
